Planning a trip? Let us help you prepare!

Immunizations for international travel are available at our location in Linden, NJ. Note, Care Station is a certified yellow fever immunization center. Due to the expense and short shelf life of some drugs, we have limited supply at our office, but if you call ahead we can check our supply to ensure the vaccine is available prior to your visit.

When you come in, our physicians will review your travel itinerary, check your medical history, and will then provide the appropriate vaccine(s) for your trip, as recommended by the Centers of Disease Control. Unfortunately, we cannot give recommendations over the telephone. As in the case of any other service, no appointment is necessary. You should come into the office at least two weeks before you departure to provide time for the vaccine to become effective, as well as allow time for treatment in the unlikely event that there is an adverse or allergic reaction to the vaccine.

Unfortunately, these vaccines, many of which can be expensive, are not usually covered by insurance. Therefore, in the absence of evidence that your immunizations are covered, payment will be due at the time of service. We will be happy to give you an itemized statement for you to file with your insurance company in the event some coverage is available.
